Academic Wellness: “What to Do When You Don’t Know How to Improve in Class”

Studying harder does not always mean studying smarter. If you feel like you’re spending lots of time preparing or studying for a class but aren’t seeing the results you want, this workshop is for you. We are partnering with the Learning Commons to help students identify the root causes of academic challenges, to explore evidence-based learning strategies, and develop a personalized action plan for improvement. Through guided discussion and small-group activities, participants will leave with practical tools and tailored tips to strengthen their performance in any course.

Academic Wellness: Navigator-Led Study Hall

Put your new strategies into practice at this interactive study hall led by First Year Navigators. Students will collaborate with peers, receive guidance from experienced student leaders, and work through course-specific challenges in a supportive environment. Whether you need help organizing your study approach, reviewing material, or staying accountable to your academic goals, this study hall provides dedicated time, resources, and encouragement to help you succeed.
