The Learning Commons peer tutors are trained to support students in a variety of courses. Sessions are designed to assist students with attaining a deeper understanding of course materials.
Tutors explain concepts in a way that you can understand and help you learn on your own terms. Tutors won’t give you the answers to your work, but we’ll give you something better: the tools and confidence to authentically learn.
Students can come in for tutoring at any point during the semester to review for an exam, discuss concepts, or work through practice problems. Many students find it beneficial to attend a tutoring session at least weekly to get the most out of this service.
