First Gen Fridays are a great way to kick off each month – offering free lunch, connection, and community. It’s an easy opportunity to meet other first-generation students and staff members who are here to support your journey at UA! First Gen Fridays is one of our many opportunities for you to connect with other students you share common ground with. Check out the schedule below to learn more about how to connect for lunch at First Gen Friday.
First Gen Friday Events are the first Friday of each month in Russell Hall 300. Join us to meet new students, enjoy FREE food, and discover community!
November 2026
Join us for a First Gen Friday Celebration with Dreamland BBQ and an opportunity to connect with fellow first-generation students, faculty and staff. The First Gen Awards will be announced during the First Gen Friday event to recognize nominees and award winners.
