The A-Team are student leaders who participate in a semester-long leadership experience to prepare for being the first face to welcome students to UA! The A-Team play a primary role in supporting incoming students and helping them feel connected to The University of Alabama. During Camp 1831, these leaders offer their personal insight and give tips for having a fun and successful college experience. The A-Team must understand what it means to be a member of the Capstone and demonstrate it to Camp 1831 participants. To prepare for their leadership experience, The A-Team spends the spring semester attending training workshops to sharpen their knowledge of UA history & traditions, campus resources, student life, and the Tuscaloosa community.
The Student Coordinators for A-Team Leadership Experience serve as advisors for members of the A-Team by assisting in the development of leadership trainings, meeting with members of The A-Team for personal and professional development, and working in the office to support marketing and program development for Camp 1831.
Please review all 2024 A-Team Required Dates for trainings and Camp 1831 sessions before submitting an A-Team Application.
