Participant Experiences

We asked past participants how Crimson Scholars has impacted their college experience so far and why an incoming student should join.

“Joining Crimson Scholars was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It really opened my eyes to what’s possible when you’re surrounded by people who truly believe in you. I’ve found a strong sense of community, made some amazing connections, and had opportunities I never imagined would be within reach. If you’re unsure about joining, I’d say go for it—you might be surprised by what you’re capable of and where it can take you.”

“Personally, Crimson Scholars has been one of the most grounding parts of my time here at UA. It gave me people to lean on and reminded me I don’t have to do college alone. CS gave me a support system, but it also pushed me to grow in how I communicate, lead, and show up for others. I’d tell them it’s one of those things that ends up meaning more than you expect. It helped me feel more confident in myself and gave me people I know I can count on.”
