Free tutoring and peer coaching is available to all current Student Support Services (SSS) TRIO Program participants.
Peer tutoring and peer coaching is provided by appointment only; therefore, it is important to make appointments for tutoring early. For more information about tutoring, please contact Brandi Hodo at (205) 348-0731.
Peer Tutoring
Our mission at TRIO SSS is to provide our students with the tools to succeed and tutoring is vital to that mission. Our current peer tutors specialize in AEM 201, BSC 108, 109, 114, 116 & 300; CH 101, 102, 231 & 232; ENGR 103 and MATH 005 to MATH 238.
Note that tutoring appointments made through the following link is only for SSS-TRIO students. Appointments made by non-SSS-TRIO students will be canceled.

Morgan Morrow serves as an academic coach for TRIO SSS. Mr. Morrow notes that his “strongest areas are writing, psychology, and literature. But I have also worked with students in history, human development, communications, journalism, speech, kinesiology, geology, biology, business, and several other courses.”
