REACH Potential

Students who have experienced foster care, guardianship and homelessness often do not have the resources and support that they need to successfully complete a college education. Donations to REACH enable us to provide the necessary support students deserve.

REACH Champion program, learning to foster hope one student at a time…

“Definition: (verb) support the cause of; defend.
What is a REACH Champion? A REACH Champion is an ally for the Alabama REACH program at UA and across the state of Alabama. The REACH Champion program is designed to support the cause of current and former foster youth in higher education. It is available to faculty, staff, and community members. It will serve to bring awareness to foster youth in higher education as well as offer REACH students additional resources across campus and their community to support them. A Champion includes being a mentor, host family, or sponsor. If you are interested in becoming a REACH Champion or learning more please contact us.
