Community is at the heart of the transfer experience at UA. We provide intentional opportunities for transfer students to connect through mentorship and affinity groups, along with other opportunities, helping you build relationships, engage on campus, and establish a strong sense of belonging.

Incoming transfer students are invited to sign up for a TEAM Mentor — a current transfer student who serves as a friendly guide and support system during your transition. TEAM Mentors meet one-on-one in person with their mentees and check in weekly via text or your preferred method of communication.

Affinity Groups
Transfer affinity groups provide students with opportunities to connect with peers who share similar backgrounds and experiences. Please see below the 4 different Affinity Groups that are currently offered:
