The ENGenuity Lab is open to all students in the College of Engineering to cultivate relationships, explore opportunities and collaborate with peers. Students will find tutoring, mentoring and career preparation.
The Speaking Studio is a campus-wide resource dedicated to enhancing public speaking, presentation and oral communication skills for students, faculty, and community partners. We assist clients in clarifying and crafting effective messages, cultivating dynamic delivery and alleviating public speaking anxiety.
The MTLC offers help tutoring for all students enrolled in any of the introductory math courses (005-238).
Look to the MTLC if you need:
– Help on any homework or practice problem.
– Self-paced support and instant feedback on your progress.
The Writing Center is a free service open to all University of Alabama students that offers:
– Writing consultations by appointment (50 minutes).
– Drop-in writing consultations (30 minutes).
– Online appointments for distance students (Zoom or asynchronous/email-based).
– Workshops and events.
The Cube, a 3D production and printing lab, is open to anyone on campus to test the bounds of additive manufacturing, or 3D printing. The Cube is operated by the College of Engineering, and its staff can assist in printing models personally designed for class, design groups, research, senior designs or personal use
The University Libraries offer students access to more than three million print, electronic resources and materials. Located across the UA campus, the library system includes 10 separate libraries and offers a huge array of resources for academic study.
The History Peer Mentor Program is a group of students who made it through the history survey courses successfully and now want to share what they learned to help you excel in your classes.
