The Legacy Collective is student-powered. Our upper-level leaders guide the community, mentor first-years, and help bring TLC Week (and the whole year) to life.
TLC Ambassadors
- Who they are:
- A team of upper-level BRIDGE & Lucy’s Legacy students who help first-year TLC students construct their academic & leadership path at UA.
- What they do:
- Provide academic support, connect first-year students to the UA experience, and conduct the activities & dialogue during TLC Week and throughout the academic year.
Engagement & Academic Mentors
- Who they are:
- A collective of upper-level BRIDGE & Lucy’s Legacy students – tutors and peer academic coaches – who lead study halls, small-group mentoring by academic college and workshops on academic skill-building (e.g. time management, note-taking, planning a strong semester, etc.).
- What they do:
- Pair with first-years for regular check-ins, explain academic expectations of college, and deliver sessions on networking, campus academic, social and health resources, and more. By collaborating with the TLC staff, they cultivate a scholarly community of TLC students at UA.
