Tau Sigma is a national honor society dedicated to recognizing the academic achievements of transfer students and helping them establish connections with The University of Alabama. Tau Sigma offers chances for leadership positions and opportunities for scholarships. In order to be eligible for Tau Sigma, a student must receive a 3.5 GPA their first semester after transferring from another institution.
How to Join
Transfer students who are eligible for Tau Sigma will be invited to join each spring semester. All invitations for Tau Sigma are sent to a potential new member’s Crimson email address.
