Fields works in the Center for Student Success, Office of Student Academic Engagement and Advocacy. Finalists for this award included Lewis Fischer, Jessica Stephans and Jayleigh Tawbush.

“I am proud of Jadyn for her accomplishments at The University of Alabama, especially being recognized as the Student Employee of the Year,” said Dr. Kiara S. Summerville, Fields’s supervisor and director of student academic engagement and advocacy in the Capstone Center for Student Success.

“It was easy to nominate her because she is outstanding in so many ways. Jadyn makes my work as an educator and practitioner meaningful. Her future is bright, and I have no doubt that she will continue to make UA, our office, and the Lucy’s Legacy community proud.”

“I am extremely honored and blessed,” said Fields. “Serving as Lucy’s Legacy Student Coordinator is an honor and I love being able to give back to the program that has given me so much — friends, memories, and confidence!
