Compass Talks are your opportunity to set up individual meetings with a professional staff member, graduate student staff member, or undergraduate student staff member to discuss goal setting, involvement opportunities, and challenges or successes you are facing during your first year.
Crimson Scholars is a program designed for incoming students to connect with peers and upperclassmen peer mentors with similar academic/career interests and jumpstart their success at UA.
Freshman Forum is a leadership development program with a focus on civic engagement.
Lucy’s Legacy is a living-learning community (LLC) for women interested in exploring the historical significance and experiences of women of color at The University of Alabama.
New VIEW is for out of state, first-year women who want to build community and connections, foster lasting friendships, and promote college loyalty.
Out 2 Lunch is a program that encourages students to engage with their faculty members outside of class and over casual conversation.
Peer Leaders are upperclassman student leaders that serve as mentors and role models in first-year student courses.
